My name is Roxanne Brierley and I have trained 2 agility dogs, Bella, a Miniature Schnauzer, and Rogue, an Australian Kelpie.
When Bella was a puppy, we were introduced to the sport of dog agility. Fortunately for me, from day one, I was exposed to positive dog training. This created a wonderful relationship between Bella and me and lead to much success in agility to date. At three years old (and in her first year of competition) Bella won the 2007 AAC National Steeplechase competition and the next year became the 2008 AAC National Champion in her division.
Rogue and I completed all of her foundation training and went to many seminars together. She has fabulous skills and is playing agility with a fellow agility nut.
My newest agility adventure will be with my new Border Collie, Spark. I am looking forward to having a new teammate to train - this time with the help of my children : ).
I have been fortunate to train with some of the best dog trainers in the sport of agility. I am currently a student of Justine Davenport and have attended camps and seminars with Susan Garret and Susan Salo and Greg Derrett.
Although as a mother of three kids aged 4 and under I find myself busier than ever, I really look forward to my classes as an outlet to share what I know and to continue with my hobby/addiction to dog training and agility.
